The second ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Dambulla on Tuesday was abandoned due to rain after Sri Lanka posted 311, batting first. Kusal Mendis smashed a maiden century and Upul Tharanga scored a fifty in his 200th ODI as Sri Lanka finished with 311 in 49.5 overs . Sri Lanka had won the toss and opted to bat. Taskin Ahmed’s hattrick was the highlight of the Bangladesh bowling. Bangladesh lead the three-match series 1-0. Bangladesh could seal a historic series win in the third ODI to be played on Saturday (April 1). They last clinched an ODI series away from home in August 2009 in Zimbabwe.
