Tamim Iqbal hit 103 as Bangladesh reached 328-5 in its second innings at stumps on day four of the first test against England at Lord's on Sunday, giving it a lead of 105.

Tamim's century came off just 94 balls as he launched a blistering counterattack with fellow opening batsman Imrul Kayes, who made 75.

Junaid Siddique added an unbeaten 66 as Bangladesh put up fierce resistance after being forced to follow on.

The tourist was all out for 282 in its first innings, allowing England to enforce the follow-on, but as batting conditions improved, Tamim and Kayes played some breathtaking strokes, helping Bangladesh to a slender lead with one day of the test remaining.
