The bonhomie shared by former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar is quite electric, not just on, but off the field as well. The explosive opening duo on Wednesday engaged in a friendly banter on Twitter, leaving people in splits. This time the ‘Najafgarh ka Nawab’, who has recently become the fan boy of trolling, showed exactly how to stump ‘the master’.
Sachin had posted a tweet congratulating the Indian team for comprehensively defeating New Zealand and achieving an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ongoing Test series, to which Sehwag pulled a short leg.
A spectacular victory by Team INDIA & many congratulations on regaining the no 1 position in the world test cricket!! #INDvNZ— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) October 4, 2016
Sehwag butted in, asking for an occasional word of appreciation for the commentators too from the ‘God Ji’.
Oh God ji, kabhi kabhi Commentators ko bhi encourage kar diya kijiye.— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) October 4, 2016
Thoda Motivation mil jaayega . https://t.co/KOzAUL5gWi
Tendulkar, mentor to the Mukesh Ambani-owned IPL team, Mumbai Indians, replied with a ‘Jiyo’ (May you live), perhaps, not realising that ‘Jiyo’ is a homonym of ‘Jio’, the 4G service recently launched by Ambani’s Reliance Industries.
Jiyo mere Lala....🤗🤗🤗Tathaaaastuuuuu!!!😜😜 https://t.co/whyq1pluGn— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) October 4, 2016
Not the one to miss a gap, Sehwag spotted the room and sneaked the ball right through, proving it again why he deserves the ‘master troll’ tag.
🙏 Aashirwad me bhi God ji , apni IPL team ke Maalik ke brand ka zikr karna nahi bhoolte.— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) October 5, 2016
Sahi me, Duniya hila dete hain aap God ji https://t.co/RA5eSbOpX7
Sachin tried to duck the bouncer, but we will give it to Sehwag for this innings.
Woh to apni apni soch ki baat hai. 🤔Tumhari soch ki alag, meri spelling ki alag …😊 https://t.co/BJMfmPsHH6— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) October 5, 2016
Here are some of the gems Sehwag has pulled off on Twitter
Hpy Bday Arun Lal ji.Stay healthy&blessed Sir.— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) August 1, 2016
Ab toh aupchaurikta mehaj hai.Koi jokhim uthane ki avashyakta nahi 😀 pic.twitter.com/3XE4I6guAJ
This one is our favourite. Sehwag’s sarcastic reply to British Journalist Piers Morgan, who tried to criticize India’s celebration on winning two medals at Rio Olympics.
Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that? https://t.co/FYSBM7ErAf— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 24, 2016
Flicked it right over the deep third man !
We cherish every small happiness',— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) August 24, 2016
