Social media users hailed Virat Kohli’s gesture of kissing his wedding ring after crossing 150 on Day 3 of the second Test against South Africa in Centurion.
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli scored a gritty hundred on the third day of the second Test against South Africa at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Monday. Kohli’s top knock of 153 off 217 balls ensured India conceded a lead of only 28 runs in the first innings and can push for a series levelling win with two days of play remaining. Walking out to bat in the ninth over with India reeling at 28/2, Kohli single-handedly kept India in the game and was the last batsman to be dismissed in the 93rd over.

Kohli, who got married to Bollywood glam girl Anushka Sharma in December 2017, didn’t miss an opportunity to show his affection to the love of his life during his brilliant knock.
In the 89th over of the Indian innings after tucking away a Morne Morkel delivery for a single to reach his 150, Kohli went on to take off his helmet and kiss his wedding ring.
His reaction became a hit on Twitter with social media users hailing the Indian captain’s gesture of love and affection towards his wife.
