The Indian players will undergo a two-day camp here from November 2 ahead of their home one day and Test engagements against Pakistan.
Cricket Association of Bengal joint secretary Samar Pal said the camp would be held at the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club as the Eden Gardens was scheduled to host the Bengal-Hyderabad Ranji Trophy tie from November 3.
Pal said the BCCI has already given the green signal to the CAB’s request for permission to hold the camp at the CC&FC.
“BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty told me verbally that we should go ahead with the arrangements. The formal written permission is expected any time”.
The Indian players would leave for Guwahati on November 4 for the first ODI at Guwahati on November 5.
