The ‘King’ of the Twitter realm, Virender Sehwag sent his Independence Day wishes by memorializing the struggles of Indian freedom fighters and soldiers.
Indian Women’s team captain MithaIi Raj expressed her sentiments with a short video clip, urging everyone to accept the diverse cultures of the country.
Her video reads: “May we celebrate our diversity and embrace our syncretism. Respect our women and their struggles. Let’s pledge to make a nation that we can all be proud of, that we all love and admire for its humanity. Happy Independence Day.”
