Mumbai Indians are on a roll and all they need now is to maintain their momentum in the Indian Premier League, coach Robin Singh said in Mumbai on Wednesday.
"This format is all about momentum. It's for us to continue that momentum by playing well," said the former India player on the eve of Mumbai Indians' match against Chennai Super Kings at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
The home team has secured three wins out of four matches they have played while the visiting team has suffered three defeats in five games going into Thursday's clash.
Robin, meanwhile, ruled out Ambati Rayudu for Thursday's match and said the talented youngster would need two more days' to become fully fit.
"He won't be playing in tomorrow's game. He will need a couple of days' more (to recover from his injury)," he said.
Rayudu hurt his elbow while fielding against Royal Challengers Bangalore in MI's third match here last Saturday and did not play in the fourth tie against Kolkata Knight Riders two days ago.
Robin did not rule out a change in the playing eleven for the game against the Super Kings, saying the team combination depended on the type of opposition it came across.
