Anil Kumble, who was appointed mentor of the Royal Challengers Bangalore hours after he withdrew from the IPL players' auction, will not be the only addition to the Bangalore team's support staff for the third edition of the tournament this year.
RCB have roped in South African great, Allan Donald, to manage the fast bowling department. "I will be there in the IPL as RCB's bowling coach," Donald, nicknamed White Lightening during his playing days, told Hindustan Times on Thursday.
"I am waiting for RCB coach Ray Jennings to come (back) and finalise it."
Jennings, also a South African, is in India for the high-profile auction, to be held in Bangalore on Saturday and Sunday.
Donald, who was approached by India coach Gary Kirsten before the BCCI finalised Eric Simons as the Indian team's bowling coach, will be a big help to the young Karnataka pacers.
