On a day when cricketer Yuvraj Singh was picked up by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Daredevils for a whopping Rs 16 crore, his father Yograj Singh targeted skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni over his son's omission from India's 2015 World Cup squad.
"I want to know what is (Mahendra Singh) Dhoni's problem with my son. He played for the country even when he was suffering from cancer. I don't understand this," Yograj, a former all-rounder, said.
"If Dhoni is having personal issues with my son, I won't do anything, God will do justice," he added.
Yuvraj, however, immediately tweeted to clear the air over the matter. "Like every parent my dad is also passionate and I am sure got carried away... always enjoyed playing under Mahi n would do so in future," Yuvraj tweeted.
Yuvraj is not part of the Indian World Cup team playing Down Under after being the star of the tournament in the side's triumph four years ago.
