The Indian cricket team wrapped up the opening Test of the three-match series against Sri Lanka with a day to spare, which meant that the players got some extra time to cool their heels after producing a dominant show.

Some of the Indian players headed to a newly-opened resort in Galle, and enjoyed time relaxing in the big swimming pool. Obviously, a series of social media posts from players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and even KL Rahul followed soon.

KL Rahul and Virat Kohli were together, and they posted quite a few selfies indicating the relaxed mood in the camp after a well-earned win.

Rahul posted a photograph with Kohli and wrote, “When skipper says #selfie you pout. #chillday by the beach #galle @imVkohli.” (sic)

Veteran cricketer and one of the naughtiest in the Indian team, Yuvraj Singh, soon joined the banter pulling Rahul’s leg over instructions from his captain. He wrote, “Basically what you saying when skipper say selfie u have no choice but to pose agreed have to do what captain says.” (sic)

Rahul did not have any answer to the senior cricketer’s question, and he only replied by saying that he is ready to click a selfie whenever possible.

KL Rahul, in all probability, will feature in the Indian side for the second Test against Sri Lanka, which begins at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) in Colombo on August 3.
