Chris Mpofu claims three wickets as Zimbabwe beat Afghanistan by seven wickets (D/L method) to level the series 2-2 in Harare on Friday.

Opting to bat first, Afghanistan got off to a very disappointing start as they were struggling at 12/3 at the end of the 10th over. Skipper Asghar Stanikzai and Hashmatullah Shahidi tried to lead the fightback, but Mpofu claimed both their wickets to dismiss the visitors for just 111.

Chris Mpofu finished with figures of 3/25 with Tendai Chatara and Graeme Cremer two wickets each, while Asghar Stanikzai was the top scorer with 19 runs.

Chasing 105 to win due to the Duckworth-Lewis method, Zimbabwe got off to a brilliant start as Mire and Peter Moor amassed a 79-run partnership to guide their team to victory.

Moor finished on 36, while Williams remained undefeated on 16.Nabi was the most successful bowler with two wickets, while Rashid Khan claimed one.
