A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death at his home in southwest Delhi’s Shivpuri locality early on Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident was reported to them around 4.30am. A case of murder has been registered at the Sagarpur police station.

The victim, identified as Dharam Narayan, was asleep when somebody knocked on the main door of his home. Nayaran’s wife told the police that he had gone to check the person who was at the door.

“The killer stabbed Narayan and fled. Narayan screamed for help and collapsed on the floor. After seeing Narayan bleeding profusely, his wife raised an alarm and their neighbours took him to a hospital,” said a police officer.
