A 52-year-old Delhi Police head constable, posted in the Police Control Room (PCR), committed suicide on the day of Holi by hanging himself from the grill of a park’s boundary wall in Tilak Lane in New Delhi district area.

The deceased, c, who resided at north Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar, was found hanging from the iron grille around 6.30am on Wednesday. Krishnan allegedly was depressed because of some family-related issues.

No suicide note was recovered from the spot.A senior police officer said a passerby first noticed Krishnan hanging and called the PCR.
He was immediately rushed to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
