It could not have been more encouraging than this.

About 50,000 lucky voters will get to hear a message to come out and elect a clean candidate this Sunday from none other than superstar Aamir Khan.

The actor has recorded three messages urging people to come out and vote, make a wise choice and not to vote for candidates with criminal background. A 54-second long message, in Hindi, that Delhiites will get to hear would urge them to elect a clean candidate. "For how much will you sell the future of your child — a bottle of liquor, a sack of wheat, a Sari, a television or a radio set or a few thousand rupees? Remember, some candidates are coming at your doorstep to buy your vote. Those who will buy your vote now will sell your child's future later," Khan tells the voters.

"Don't cast your vote at all to the person who tries to buy your vote. Elect a clean and good candidate," Khan urges.

ADR's national coordinator Anil Bairwal said the automatic calls playing Aamir Khan's messages are being made.

"Those subscribers who are not registered under the 'Do Not Disturb' service will get this recorded clip played on their phones.," Bairwal said.

He added that the voters can also get the information about the candidates by calling up on round-the-clock toll free helpline number 1800-110-440.
