Advani alleges ‘conspiracy’

BJP’s prime ministerial candidate LK Advani said that invoking a stringent law like the NSA against Varun Gandhi was a political conspiracy, reports HT Correspondent.
BJP’s prime ministerial candidate LK Advani on Monday said that invoking a stringent law like the National Security Act against Varun Gandhi was a political conspiracy. “It is a conspiracy of the UP government,” Advani said at Lohardaga in Jharkhand.
The statement came on a day when the party announced that both Advani and president Rajnath Singh would campaign for Varun. In New Delhi, BJP leader SS Ahluwalia said, “This is a conspiracy to divert all attention from the UPA government’s failures.”
