Days after social activist Anna Hazare disbanded his team, yoga guru Ramdev is set for another show of strength in Ramlila Maidan in the capital on August 9 to protest “corruption and black money”.

Ramdev’s supporters were evicted from the same venue last year after he was accused of going back on his agreement with the government to end his fast.

On a visit to Gujarat ahead of the protest this week, Ramdev said he had no political agenda but refused to comment on Anna Hazare’s move to go political.

Asked if Hazare would participate in his agitation, Ramdev said Hazare had said several times that he would be present at the venue. The two spoke on phone earlier in the day. Sources, however, indicated Hazare had not made up his mind.
