Ambedkar comes out with fourth list

Ambedkar University on Wednesday came out with its promised fourth cut-off list for a number of undergraduate programmes. Admission to the varsity’s top pick economics course this year, however, had been closed.

Ambedkar University on Wednesday came out with its promised fourth cut-off list for a number of undergraduate programmes. Admission to the varsity’s top pick economics course this year, however, had been closed.

This apart, admissions to social sciences and humanities course also stood closed for Delhi candidates. Seats in these courses, however, were available to the outside Delhi category.

For English honours, Delhi applicants need a score between 75% and 80%. Students who are not from Delhi need to have scored between 78% and 83% to be eligible to apply for the same course.http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/Popup/2013/7/18_07_13-metro5.gif

Applicants, both from Delhi and non-Delhi, seeking admission for the undergraduate course in mathematics in the fourth cut-off list need to have scored between 69% and 74%.

A Delhi student interested in studying history will require a score between 59% and 64% while those from outside the state will need a score between 77% and 82% for applying.

Ambedkar University is a model humanities university and reserves 85% of its seats for students from the National Capital Region.

The university has also launched a special drive for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. Reserved category students who had not applied to Ambedkar University but meet the minimum eligibility conditions for a respective undergraduate programme can seek admission against the available seats at the varsity.

The admission procedure for the fourth cut-off list and the reserved category students will begin on July 18.
