The second incident took place in the South Extension Part I Market. “A local jeweller’s employee, Shriram, was on his way to deposit money in the bank when he was waylaid and shot at by three bikers at 11.47am. The bikers fled with his bag containing R11.40 lakh,” said HGS Dhaliwal, deputy commissioner of police (south). Shriram is recovering from his injury.
