Bhartiya Janshakti leader Uma Bharti on Saturday stood by her claim that some BJP leaders along with the Samajwadi Party were behind the "cash-for-vote" scam.

"She still stands by her claim on whatever is being shown in the video CD," party spokesman Sanjay Sharma said in a press statement in New Delhi.

Demanding that the BJP and Samajwadi Party should clarify their stand on the issue, Bharti also sought clarification from the concerned television channel, which had submitted the "cash-for-vote" CD to the Lok Sabha Speaker.

The statement, however, made it clear that Bharti had never said that the CD was filmed on a particular day.

Sharma also said that BJP has failed to come up with a convincing argument against the involvement of its party MP Faggan Singh Kulaste in the audio CD distributed by Bharti to the mediapersons on Friday.

Kulaste was among the three MPs who had displayed wads of currency notes in Lok Sabha before the trust vote last week.
