BJP protests petrol price hike

Thousands of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers took to the streets on Friday against the hike in petrol prices. Demonstrating at Jantar Mantar, BJP leaders said the rise would add to the miseries of the common man.

Thousands of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers took to the streets on Friday against the hike in petrol prices. Demonstrating at Jantar Mantar, BJP leaders said the rise would add to the miseries of the common man.

Delhi BJP president Vijender Gupta said petrol prices have gone up by Rs 22 per litre in last 15 months. Senior BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi said 50% share of the petrol price hike would go to the exchequer in the form of tax and duties.
