Senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has alleged that there is a huge scam worth Rs 56,000 crore in the allotment of land in Noida and Greater Noida.
Addressing a press conference in the city, the BJP leader alleged that there were irregularities in the sale of sugar mill in Bareilly. "We have got details of over 183 cases of corruption by the BSP government and number is rising each day as more cases were being reported from various districts of the state. We are compiling them and take it to public," said Somaiya.
Meanwhile, demanding a CBI probe into an alleged land scam in Noida, the Samajwadi Party on Thursday said that precious plots were allotted in Noida and Greater Noida at throwaway prices to builders and threatened to cancel such deals, if voted to power.
"We demand a CBI probe in the land allotments in Noida and Greater Noida from May 2007 to March 2011 so that revenue losses could be assessed and corrupt officials sent to jail," SP leader Shivpal Yadav said.
"About 162 acres has been allotted to Web City Infrastructure at the rate of Rs 85,000 per sqm. An NOC has also being given to the company build a multi-storey at the site. As against the market rate of Rs 24,000 crore for this land it was allotted at a meagre of around Rs 7,000 crore," he alleged.
He alleged that Mayawati had got commission of about Rs 7,000 crore in the deal and added that all such deals would be cancelled if his party was voted to power in the state. "Thousand acres of land has been allotted to big companies like Amrapali, Gaur City, 3C, Supertech, Paras Group, Ajnara group in Noida, Greater Noida," he alleged.
