After the recent blasts and the encounter, even collection agents are staying away. Living with a Jamia Nagar address has never been easy – getting a home loan or a Net connection, for instance, was always tough.
Things have got tougher after the September 13 blasts and the encounter.
“I had called the local collection executive three days back to send an agent to collect the cheque for my Net connection, but he said that agents were wary of entering the area and asked me to pay the bill at the Nehru Place outlet personally,” said Mohammed Amir (name changed), a resident of Batla House.
