The body of a five-year-old boy was recovered from a wooden box near New Delhi Railway Station, police said on Monday.
The body was recovered from near the boundary wall of the railway station on Paharganj side at around 11 pm on Sunday, they said. Police are yet to identify the victim.
The body has been preserved at the mortuary and the post-mortem would be conducted after three days.
Police suspect that the boy could have been kidnapped for ransom and later killed.
