The Union cabinet has convened a special session Friday evening to pay homage to former prime minister IK Gujral, who died at age 92.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is to pay homage to Gujral at the cabinet session, the Prime Minister's Office said.

Gujral died at 3.27 pm on Friday at a Gurgaon hospital where was admitted with a lung infection Nov 19.
