Cash, jewellery worth Rs 16 lakh burgled

A gang of unidentified assailants allegedly broke into sales manager Rajesh Khanna’s residence in Anand Vihar’s Jagriti Enclave, and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 16 lakh early on Friday, police said.

A gang of unidentified assailants allegedly broke into sales manager Rajesh Khanna’s residence in Anand Vihar’s Jagriti Enclave, and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 16 lakh early on Friday, police said.

Khanna works at an outlet for a casual wear brand in Gurgaon.

According to police, Khanna’s elderly parents discovered the theft when they stepped out for their daily morning walk and immediately informed Khanna and the police.

The police have collected fingerprints and other evidence from the crime scene and are investigating the matter.
