Cashier found killed in Rohini’s Japanese Park

In the first instance, Subhash Mishra, 49, a cashier at TVR mall in northwest Delhi's
Ashok Vihar and a resident of Rohini's Sector 1, had gone missing on Thursday afternoon. He was found dead with his throat slit in Japanese Park.
in Rohini Sector 10 on Friday morning.
"A rag picker spotted his body around 10am and a bystander called the police. A blood-stained kitchen knife was recovered from near the body," said an officer. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Mishra’s scooter was found parked outside the park and his wallet was intact, which has made the police rule out robbery as a motive. However, his mobile phone could not be recovered.
In another incident, the body of a two-year-old was found in a drain, a few metres away from his house in northeast Delhi’s Karawal Nagar. The child, named Akash, had been missing since Wednesday.
His family members alleged that he was kidnapped and murdered by a neighbour. A case of kidnapping had been registered at the Karawal Nagar police station on Wednesday evening.
On Friday evening, several people, including the child’s family members, gathered in Karawal Nagar area and raised slogans against the Delhi Police.
