On June 5, Delhi University will be holding a joint entrance test for three of its courses: Bachelor of Business Economics, Bachelor of Business Studies and Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis. However, the change of exam centres at the last moment has left quite a few aspirants confused.

The confusion is mainly regarding one centre — Arts Faculty (North Campus) that was wrongly allotted as the exam centre instead of Arts Faculty (South Campus).

“My admit card had Arts Faculty, North Campus as the exam centre. But a few days later, we received an intimation from DU helpdesk, saying the centre had been changed,” said Vineet Gupta, an aspirant.

“Since we live close to North Campus, we sent an email requesting the administration to maintain status quo. Their reply said, no Arts Faculty building existed in North Campus,” added Gupta.

DU, however, maintains that the error happened due to faulty data processing. “The error occurred as last year's data mentioned North Campus as the centre. The change to South Campus has led to confusion as that wing is not very well-known,” said SK Garg, nodal officer for the test and Principal of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.
