A chilly morning greeted the capital's citizens on Sunday with the minimum temperature plummeting to four degrees celsius.
However, the sky was clear and there was no fog.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 4.4 degree celsius, down from yesterday's 8.0 degree celsius which the weatherman attributed to the moving away of western disturbance from the region. The maximum was 21.6 degree Celsius, the Met office said.
The forecast said there could be a slight fall in minimum temperature in the next couple of days. Isolated to scattered showers are also expected in the capital in the next two days.
As the sky was clear, there was no fog related delay in air and train traffic.
"It is a clear morning. The visibility is good and there was no disruption in the air traffic," Delhi International Airport Limited spokesman Anirudha Chatterjee said.
Most of the flights to and fro Delhi was operating smoothly accept a few operational delays.
"Most of our flights are operating on time," Jet Airways speokesman Ragini Chopra said.
There was no fog related delay in train operations too.
