Commuters at Kalindi Kunj bridge witnessed two to three hours of traffic jams on Monday. The Delhi to Noida stretch was packed with a nearly two-kilometre-long queue as a result of a vehicle breakdown.

"I started from Ashram at around 8am and took a cab to reach office. Around 8.15am I reached Jasola Vihar. Till 10am the cab did not move an inch. Commuters from Noida informed us that traffic upto Mahamaya flyover was blocked. They said that some vehicle was being lifted," Zakia Tasmin Rahman, a senior executive at Amity University, said.
"Around 10.30am, I left the cab and started walking. I crossed the bridge on foot and reached Mahamaya flyover," Rahman said. "Traffic was slow on the stretch from Noida to Delhi stretch too."
"From Delhi to Noida, traffic was affected for more than three hours. Traffic flow improved only after noon. The vehicle was lifted with the support of Delhi police," Ajay Sahdev, superintendent of police (traffic) in Noida, said.
