Exuding confidence of winning in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, DPCC President J P Aggarwal on Thursday said only Congress understands the "pressing problems" of the common people and has solutions to them.

"I am confident of winning all the seats in Delhi," he said. Addressing a party meeting, Aggarwal asked the party workers to inform the people about the social welfare schemes implemented by the UPA Government in the last five years.

The DPCC president said India has not been affected too much by the economic recession because of the "efficient policies" of the Government. He said Congress-led government has been working sincerely to improve quality of life of the people belonging to weaker section of the society.

Aggarwal also complimented the Delhi Government for running many welfare schemes for the benefit of the poor people.
