Efficiency in public service would improve only if public servants display honesty in their day-to-day work, a Delhi court said while sentencing a city government survey officer to two year in jail for demanding bribe.

“Efficiency in public service will improve only when public servants exhibit honesty in their day-to-day affairs,” Special Judge BR Kedia said while sentencing Harish Chand Bachani, 56, a survey officer in Slum department of the municipal to two-year imprisonment.
