In a scathing attack on the government, the BJP today said the government is unmoved at reports of the Commonwealth Games' mess.

Addressing a press conference, BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said, "National prestige is involved but the government is unmoved."

The BJP said as many as 26 corruption cases are being probed.

The statements came on a day when several international athletes announced they were pulling out of the 2010 Games in Delhi due to security and health concerns.

On Tuesday, a foot-over bridge outside the main CWG venue, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium collapsed, hours after top Commonwealth Games Federation officials and foreign delegates described the Games Village as “unlivable and filthy”.
