The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will launch a series of workshops from Thursday to discuss a draft policy on ‘transit oriented development’.
The authority plans high-density mixed land use development along transit corridors, such as the Metro. This policy is planned to be included as a new chapter in the Master Plan of Delhi 2021.

The DDA is going to organise about 25 workshops in March and April to create awareness regarding the policy, identify possible hurdles and incorporate concerns of stakeholders, agencies and community representatives.
