All of the Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) schemes will now be assessed on a weekly basis by the chief engineer and the superintending engineer and a report will be submitted to the vice chairperson and engineering member every Monday.
This order was issued by the newly appointed vice chairperson of DDA, SK Srivastava, after he had claimed that he would try to improve the image of DDA. Hindustan Times has been consistently reporting on the incomplete and unlivable flats under the 2010 housing scheme.
The first evaluation report will be submitted on September 3 while all subsequent reports will be submitted every Monday. Srivastava had earlier suspended three engineers for incomplete work in the Mukherjee Nagar DDA flats.
