With allegations of corruption flying thick and fast, Delhi Government on Thursday directed all concerned agencies involved in Commonwealth Games to prepare detailed reports of their spending and offer full cooperation to probe agencies including CAG and CVC.

At a meeting with top officials of various departments, Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta directed them to keep their documents ready and "fully cooperate" with investigators.
The Chief Secretary also briefed the officials about the procedures needed to be followed while extending support to the probe agencies. "All our records are clear. We have nothing to hide. All the departments were told to fully cooperate with the probe agencies," said a top official after the meeting.
The Central Vigilance Commission, in a letter to Mehta last week, had requested him to produce all details about CWG spending by the Delhi Government.
According to official figures, various Delhi Government agencies, including the Public Works Department, had spent over Rs 16,000 crore to enhance city infrastructure ahead of the Games.
PWD Principal Secretary K K Sharma, after the meeting, said his department has kept all the documents relating to all CWG projects ready and will offer full support to any probe. "We are ready to furnish all the documents to any probe agency, be it CAG or CVC.
Our records are clear. We have nothing to hide," he said. The PWD had implemented projects worth over Rs 4,000 crore. Another official said Delhi Government would like the CAG to examine the CWG projects separately.
"The CAG always conducts scrutiny of all the expenditure. We would like the CAG to examine the CWG projects separately as serious questions are being raised over the Games spending," he said. Sources said CVC teams will study records of spending by departments including PWD, Urban Development, Transport, Environment, Power and Tourism.
Earlier this week, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had asked all concerned departments of the city government to keep relevant documents ready and "fully cooperate" with investigators.
Dikshit had said records of all expenditure incurred as part of preparations for Games should be kept ready so that they could be made available to any probe agency wanting to scrutinise them.
Earlier, an analysis by Chief Technical Examination Wing of CVC had found alleged financial and administrative irregularities in 16 construction and procurement projects. Six of them were done by PWD, three by MCD, two each by CPWD, DDA, NDMC and one by RITES, a Government of India Enterprise.
