NEW DELHI: The Arvind Kejriwal government opposed the Centre’s ordinance to keep states out of a single medical entrance test called NEET and had requested the President not to give his consent.
The AAP government is willing to participate in the NEET from this academic session itself, saying it has fulfilled all mandatory procedures.
“We have three colleges and we will follow NEET,” said Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain.
But the Union health ministry has apparently not received any intimation from Delhi. “We have been approached by other states, but we haven’t heard anything from Delhi so far,” said Union health minister JP Nadda.
