Delhiites can look forward to pleasant weather Sunday as met officials predicted partly cloudy skies and a possibility of rain by evening.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy with possibility of rain and thunderstorm later in the afternoon or by evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Some parts of the national capital experienced light showers Saturday evening, bringing relief from the heat wave sweeping the city.
The minimum temperature recorded Sunday morning was 26.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the average for this time of the year. According to IMD, the city can expect the maximum temperature to hover around 41.2 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level was recorded at 35 percent in the morning.
