Love Delhi for

The greenery and of course, the roads. It is such a pleasure to drive! The smell, the first drop of rain ... the fun attitude of people here. It’s one of the few places in India that the world knows.

The food, especially the momo cravings just can’t stop getting in your head every now and then. India Gate, Red Fort — The heritage sites, too, are a pleasure to visit. Also, the markets around here are awesome; you get everything. The way people welcome you here makes you feel really special. And of course, how people love Delhi so much and take pride in it! All this stuff makes Delhi so unique that you tend to realise that the city is a complete universe in itself, a whole different world. It’s got everything in it, and that ‘everything’ is great. It’s just outstanding!

Connect with Delhi

Being from a place like Kanpur, I related to this place because of the bazaars — Those open shops and flea markets selling everything from typical bangles and bindis to bandanas and footwear. And oh God! ... the chaat shops are one of the main reasons the city feels like home! The momos were actually a little new to me, but the jalebis, the gol gappe and just about everything made me feel at home here!!!

Hate Delhi for

Too much exposure and hence too much crime. The state of gender equality needs to buck up a little more. The attitude towards the freedom of girls needs to change.
