For those going on a weekend trip, the Terminal 3 of Delhi airport now offers a ‘park and fly’ facility. Passengers can now park their cars for an extended number of days at the multi-level car parking near T3 and enjoy the comfort of driving to and out of the airport in their own vehicle.

To use this facility, passengers will have to pay Rs 500 for the first day, Rs 400 for the second day and Rs 300 for every additional day as parking charges. The rates are lower than the standard parking charges at the airport.

At the multi-level car parking, the premium parking charge for 24 hours is Rs 900 while general parking charge is Rs 600. So, parking a car at the premium car parking for three days would cost R2,700 and at general parking Rs 1,800 but if somebody uses ‘park and fly’ facility, they would be paying just R1,200, a spokesperson of the private airport operator Delhi International Airport Ltd. (DIAL) said.

The facilities include dedicated customer service desk, secure and well-guarded parking space with CCTV cameras, and a dedicated fire fighting system. The parking area is connected to T3 through a corridor at ground level and via
air-conditioned skywalks with travelators on the second level. The parking is also connected to the Airport Metro Express Line, he said.
