The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has not been supplying "pure and wholesome filtered drinking water" to nearly 12,000 of its workers and officials, the Udyog Nagar Factory Owner's Association has alleged.

"Drinking water is not supplied for days and weeks. If at all there is water supply, it is dirty and contaminated," said association's general secretary Kamal Kiran Sethi in a letter to the CEO of the DJB.

The business of private tankers is flourishing under the patronage of DJB officials, Sethi claimed adding that "the issue of water concerns more than 12,000 workers".
