Engineers, MBAs among Delhi Police's new sub-inspectors

On Friday, 344 Sub-Inspectors, including 68 women, were inducted into Delhi Police.

Fourteen engineers, including an MTech, and 15 MBAs were among the sub-inspectors who joined the force at a ceremony.

Among the new inductees are 52 people with MA degree, 10 with MSc, seven law graduates, four MComs, three BPharma, two MEd and one BPEd degree holders.

Addressing the new recruits after the passing-out parade, Delhi Police Commissioner BK Gupta called upon the young officers to serve the society in an impartial way and also to enforce law in letter and spirit.

He emphasised upon the proactive role of police in protecting weaker section of society and people-friendly policing.
