Shobhit Modi's relationship with Radhika (name changed) was the talk of Facebook. With Shobhit going public about his relationship, everyone listed as his friend on Facebook had witnessed his "undying love" for Radhika.

Since Radhika is a minor, her parents were opposed to their relationship. However, the two continued to meet despite their parents' opposition and posted their photographs on the social networking site.

On Saturday, his Facebook friends could not believe that their friend was no longer alive. "Shobhit... ur last update man...U CANT B GONE ... call asap...plz (sic)," one of his friends posted on his Facebook wall.

The police are also scanning the Facebook accounts of Shobhit and his friends since he was very active on the social networking site. "One of the few guys i used to talk to in the class ... most of da times he sat beside me (sic)," said another Facebook friend.

Shobhit's friends have also commented on his relationship with Radhika and police are trying to know if there was some other boy who used to like Radhika and didn't like her friendship with Shobhit.

"Through his profile on Facebook, we are trying to know about his circle. So far, investigations suggest that this could be the handiwork of one of the friends. Since Radhika was very close to Shobhit, there may have been someone who used to like Radhika and wanted to eliminate Shobhit," said a senior police officer, requesting anonymity.

Around 10 friends of Shobhit who were in touch with him on Thursday are under scanner.
