Three assailants armed with country-made pistols allegedly attempted to barge into a bank in Neb Sarai in South Delhi around 3 a.m. on Thursday night, police said.

The Khanpur branch of the bank has two entrances and the assailants had attempted to sneak in from the back.

Police suspect it is the work of the same gang which was reportedly involved in theft and arson cases in Sarojini Nagar and Kotla Mubarakpur.
