A former Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer accused of disclosing classified information through a book on India's external intelligence agency was released on bail on Monday.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja allowed interim bail to Maj. Gen. (retd) V.K. Singh, former joint secretary of RAW, on personal and two surety bonds of Rs.100,000 each till July 18.
