Founder’s Day celebrated

Pathways World School, Aravali, held the 8th Founder's Day comprising the prize distribution, classical music ensemble, orchestra presentation and music performances. HT reports.

Pathways World School, Aravali, held the 8th Founder's Day comprising the prize distribution, classical music ensemble, orchestra presentation and music performances. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Kiran Datar, Pramod Jain, Dr. Sarvesh Naidu and senior members of the management team. On the first day, the Middle school presented 'Sunset Meditation', Primary school presented, 'Nritya Dhanush' - Colours of India and the Senior school presented a dance. On the second day, a Fun Fair was organized and a play 'I, Van Gogh', a dance performance and 'The Inter-Faith Song' were presented.

Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad, celebrated its annual day and award ceremony. Principal Nalini Bahl welcomed chief guest Air Cmde TD Joseph, VM, VSM. The highlight was a musical extravaganza 'Antradristhi-an Insight' depicting the protagonist's perception of Krishna-Pratyaksh and Paroksh. This was followed by annual report. The event also included a dance performance, 'We are the world - we are the children'. Vice-Chairman Anirudh Khaitan proposed the vote of thanks. (18khaitan)

Lilawati Vidya Mandir, Shakti Nagar, held its Annual Sports Day. Chief guest Surender Singh Yadav, DCP, lit the torch and declared the sports meet open. Aerobics, judo, drills and yogasanas followed march past. The show stealer was a dance performance on 'Jai Ho' and a Dance ballet 'Gurus of Peace'. Principal Sushma Khurana highlighted the school's achievements.

Manava Bharati India International School, Panchsheel Park, celebrated its Annual Day. The school also marked the birth centenary of its founder Durga Prasad Pandey. The school designed its annual day on three dimensions of human creativity — music, dance and drama. Indian Islamic Cultural Centre president Sirajuddin Qureshi was the guest of honour. Principal Bharati Pandey presented the annual school report.
