In two separate incidents, Delhi Police have arrested four carjackers and recovered 11 luxury vehicles from them, which were stolen from different parts of the NCR.

In the first case, Naveen (36) and Ram Awadh (39) were arrested by the outer district police. Both are residents of Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

"We have recovered cars stolen from Noida, Hapur and Dadri. Following a tip-off, they were apprehended from the Rithala-Bawana road," BS Jaiswal, DCP (outer), said.

The accused have confessed that they used to steal vehicles but had recently switched to carjacking, Jaiswal said. The police have also recovered keys of three more vehicles from the dashboard of the car in which they were travelling.

In the second incident, south district police have arrested two people and recovered seven stolen vehicles from them. The accused have been identified as Mohammed Irshad and Mohammed Azim.
