The Delhi Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in a report told the Delhi High Court that two prime sites of Commonwealth Games have become a den for dengue and malaria.
The report accused the government for not providing safe working conditions for the labourers at the venue.
The report, submitted by DLSA member secretary Asha Menon, referred Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium and Shivaji stadium as unsafe places to work. The report said the scare of dengue and malaria fever is rampant. The report slammed New Delhi Municipal Council and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for staying cold to safety of workers. According to the report workers at the sites are not registered.
