Goodley celebrates 31st prize distribution

Goodley Public School, Shalimarbagh celebrated its 31st Prize Distribution ceremony where Dr. GD Singh, Managing Director-cum-Manager welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. Narender Nath, former Education Minister.

Goodley Public School, Shalimarbagh celebrated its 31st Prize Distribution ceremony where Dr. GD Singh, Managing Director-cum-Manager welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. Narender Nath, former Education Minister.

Director S. Singh addressed the gathering. Students presented a ballet 'Water The Essence of Life' depicting the journey of water from its origin in the mountains to the rivers where its purity is tarnished by the activities of human beings. This was followed by the prize distribution. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of Rajasthan folk dances.

Four students, alongwith the Vice Principal, Veena Wahi of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh took part in the MI-World International Conference at Millennia Institute in Singapore. There were nine participating countries. The objective of this conference was to give exposure to the students about the 'Education System' followed in different parts of the world. Students stayed with the host families, attended school everyday, right from the assembly to the class room sessions, which proved to be a great learning experience.

Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar celebrated the 32nd Founder's Day. The event included a solo performance, a group dance performance, a street play on the role of youth in the upliftment of the nation and another play depicting the childhood of Vivekanand.
