Grocery shop owner killed in road mishap

A 43-year-old grocery shop owner lost his life after a speeding Ford Fiesta car hit his motorcycle from front in south Delhi's Amar Colony area late on Monday night.

A 43-year-old grocery shop owner lost his life after a speeding Ford Fiesta car hit his motorcycle from front in south Delhi's Amar Colony area late on Monday night.

According to police, the accident took place at around 11.30 pm on Captain Gaur Marg.

The deceased was identified as Ashok Kumar Sethi, a resident of Sri Niwaspuri area. Sethi ran a grocery shop in Govindpuri transit camp area. He was returning to his home after work on his Hero Honda motorcycle when the accident took place.

Investigation into the accident revealed that the car is owned by one Ashok Kumar Ratlani.

Ratlani told police that the car was being driven by his driver Satish, who had left after dropping his family at a club in Panchsheel Park area.
