The special police staff of Haryana Police have arrested three chain snatchers from Faridabad's by-pass road. These chain and purse-snatchers, the police said, were active in different parts of the NCR for the last over four years. Several some mobile phones were recovered from them.

"The three snatchers have confessed to their involvement in over 70 cases of snatching in Faridabad, Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad etc since 2007," said Madan Singh, In-charge, Special Police Staff Sector 48. The trio were identified as Sanjay Arora and Harinder-both of SGM Nagar, Faridabad-and Jitendra of Buvapur, Gautam Budh Nagar, UP. "We recovered 10 mobile sets from them and are in the process of recovering 10 gold chains," Singh said.

"They where planning another snatching late on Tuesday night when our team zeroed in on them," Singh said, adding, "Arora has been arrested before in 2007, then too on charges of snatching."
